Derbylife Gets Fashionable

Derbylife is thrilled to welcome LeVar Hurtin’ to the team as our brand new Fashion Editor. Wherever there is derby fashion, he’ll be there. Keep your eyes peeled for new features like She’s Crafty, which will showcase derby-made apparel and accessories, and This is Effin’ Awesome, where your favorite skaters will put their own spin on thrifty fashion. LeVar Hurtin’ is one of the B.ay A.rea D.erby Girls’ official league photographers and the man responsible for catching Cruz Skateshop’s “Team Cruz” looking bloodthirsty on the track. He’s been an active supporting member of the derby community since 2010, capturing over 50 leagues and gracing the covers of five on five and Blood and Thunder magazine. When not shooting the derbs, LeVar is a freelance editorial fashion photographer with about 15 years experience under his belt.
