Years Skating: I’ve been skating for 5 years this month, which is when our league was founded. I was the official first recruit! I’d never skated before and couldn’t even do crossovers.

ME: Ha! Very little... I played a lot of sports in school, but didn't continue with any after.

C: Lots when I was a wee one (gymnastics, swimming, trampolining, football) but then just your generic school Phys Ed.

DM: I tried Girls Rugby but was asked to leave because I was too rough - it wasn't even touch rugby!

DL: Why did you want to be on Team Scotland?

DM: The opportunity to play against some of the best derby girls in the world!

Years Skating: I have been skating since the age of 6 when I won a pair of roller boots in a raffle (well, when my parents did). I have skated at various roller rinks and roller sport clubs through the years and have been playing derby for around 2 and a half years.
