DL: What was your previous athletic background, if any?

TD: I was a competitive gymnast from about age 7 until I graduated high school. Also in high school, the athletic director convinced me to pole vault on the school's first women's team.

DL: Why did you want to be on Team USA?

Years Skating I've been skating most of my life. I started spending summers in skates around 5. I joined TXRD in May of 2003 and skated bank track until I transferred to TXRG in January to tryout flat track.

DL: What was your previous athletic background, if any?

Name: Shenita Stretcher

League Affiliation: Philly Roller Girls

Years Skating: I have been playing derby for five years but I grew up in my local roller rink.

DL: What was your previous athletic background, if any?

SS: I played softball and basketball when I was in grade school but that was about it. I don't have much of an athletic background but I have always been competitive.

DL: What roles have you played in derby, other than Team USA manager?EJ: I started as a Referee and was Tournament Head Ref several times, but I've hung up my stripes for good (I think I hear cheering).

Years Skating: I’ve been competing on quad and inline skates for 22 years

DL: What was your previous athletic background, if any?

A: Quad Speed National Champion in 1994. Went on to collect 17 World Titles in Inline Speed Skating. Retired from the World level in 2004. Started skating derby in late 2008

DL: What was your previous athletic background, if any?CDW: As a child I grew up swimming, bike riding, and skating for recreational fun. In elementary school, I did gymnastics competitively for a few years. During my high school years, I practiced Bikram Yoga regularly. As a teen, my interests were rock n' roll music and not competing in athletics.
