DL: What was your previous athletic background, if any?
UJ: Speed Skating and Artistic Skating with a little bit of Ice Skating

DL: Why did you want to be on Team USA?
UJ: I have always wanted to represent Team USA and skate with the best. I also thought it would be fun to be able to skate with amazing women instead of against them.

DL: How did you feel when you found out you had made it?
UJ: Excited, I wasn't sure what they were looking for, and whether or not I was what they were looking for.

DL: Which skater inspires you most, and why?
UJ: All skaters inspire me; I enjoy seeing the light bulb go off when a skater gets a skill or makes a play they had a hard time with in the past.

DL: Do you have any advice for skaters just starting out?
UJ: If you want to be better, practice; practice makes perfect. Keep a positive attitude and work on one thing at a time.
