DL: What was your previous athletic background, if any?

DM: I tried Girls Rugby but was asked to leave because I was too rough - it wasn't even touch rugby!

DL: Why did you want to be on Team Scotland?

DM: The opportunity to play against some of the best derby girls in the world!

DL: How did you feel when you found out you had made it as one of the final 20?

DM: It blew my mind.

DL: Which skater inspires you most, and why?

DM: Most of my fellow team mates in ARRG if I'm being honest.

DL: Do you have any advice for skaters just starting out?

DM: Stick with it. Even when it's so tough you want to cry. Then you'll grow up to hit hard, block fast and jam sexy :)
