Andrea Eklund (aka Professor Pain) is a professor at Central Washington University and a member of the Rodeo City Rollergirls in Ellensburg, WA, USA.

"My colleague, Barbara Masberg and I are conducting research on Roller Derby as a leisure activity and how body image is affected by participation in Roller Derby. We are asking your help distributing the survey by copy and pasting the text below on your Facebook page and encouraging league members’ participation.

All responses from the survey will be kept confidential and all responses will be aggregated so that no one respondent will be able to be identified. Every member’s responses are important as the results will provide information on the benefits of Roller Derby, and raise awareness and support for the sport. The survey is limited to individuals who are female, 18 years of age or older, and a current or retired member of a Roller Derby league. This survey should take approximately 20 minutes.
