Derbylife Writing Contest!

We've met some incredible writers over the past year, and we like to think we've brought you some pretty great stories and advice. That said, we're committed to making DerbyLife represent all the vast richness of derby experience (and be a fun place to hang out), and we need your help!

Do you like to write? Would you like a regular column or feature on DerbyLife? Send us a paragraph or two about what you'd like to write about with the best first post you can come up with. Over the next few weeks, we'll be running the submissions on the site, and at the end, we'll let you all vote for your favorite! The winner gets a regular feature on the site and a mystery prize!

Please send your submissions to Submissions (at) Derbylife.com and use the subject line Writing Contest. Include your name, a brief author bio, and a high res photograph that you have permission from the photographer to use, along with a photo credit. Please send all submissions by August 19th (or sooner). Derbylife readers will vote on their favorites in September.
